While fighting in world war 2 against Hydra Bucky Barnes and Captain America were on a mission to catch Arnim Zola who is a Hydra scientist and when a bomb went off on the train that Arnim Zola was on and Bucky was about to fall but he grabbed one of the bars on the side of the train and Captain America was trying to pull him back up but it was to late Bucky fell from the train and all the way down to the snow! Later Bucky was found by Hydra and was experimented on by Arnim Zola and his arm was replaced with a steel robotic arm made by Hydra and his memories were deleted and
now Bucky was told that Captain America is his enemy and is now
 known as the Winter Soldier.
